How quick we are to judge something or someone with a standard we cannot live up to ourselves.
When Judah found out about his daughter – in – laws prostitution, his first reaction was," bring her out and have her burned to death!" (Genesis 38:24).
The problem he failed to realize was that he was the one who had hired her as a prostitute!
When Nathan came to David, he told David a story about a poor man who had only one sheep that was stolen by a man who had many sheep

David reacted in horror and said," the man who did this deserves to die!" (2 Samuel 12:5).
Nathan the prophet, he replied," you are the man!"
The Pharisees wrongly judged Jesus Christ when they said that the cast out devils by the devil.
Jesus asks them," by whom do your people drive them out? They will be your judges" (Matthew 12:27).
Jesus taught his disciples that with the same standard they judged others, they would be judged (Matthew 7:2).
It is hard to remove a splinter from someone else's eye when a log is in your own!
