Israel's blessing started with the word" may."
As Jacob laid his hands upon the heads of Ephraim and Manasseh, he uttered may three times: " may.. The Angel who has delivered me... may they be called by my name... may they increase greatly" (Genesis 48:15, 16).
The psalmist blessed Israel with equal force:" may the Lord answer you... may he send you help... may he remember all your sacrifices... may he give you the desire of your heart... may the Lord grant all your request"
You must settle in your mind forever that God wants to bless you!
Any doubt will always result in the questioning of his desire to answer your prayers, increase you, deliver you, help you and give to you.
" May" could translate" let": let the Lord do what he wants to.
God's word has the same power to bless you as when Jacob hands rested on the heads of his grandson's.
" My words... Are life to those who find them and health to a man's whole body" (Proverbs 4:20, 22).
May the Lord bless you!
